Olu Fashanu seeks rebound ahead of Jets matchup against Bears

New York Jets left tackle Olu Fashanu is focused on rebounding ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Chicago Bears. Fashanu is looking to move past a difficult performance in a recent 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions, where he surrendered 2.5 sacks.

Fashanu stated that he is not rattled by recent criticism, noting that such challenges are a reality for offensive linemen in the NFL. He emphasized the importance of relying on training and teammates to move forward.

The Jets' offensive line, which showed strength in their Week 1 game against the Tennessee Titans, has seen a decline in both run blocking and pass protection over the last two weeks. Fashanu indicated that the unit has spent the week diagnosing recent issues and working to regain the mentality they possessed during their opening game.
