Olumide Ajibolade appointed head coach of Nigeria's Remo Stars

Olumide Ajibolade has been promoted to permanent head coach of Remo Stars ahead of the 2026/27 season, signing a long‑term contract and tasked with rebuilding the club after its recent relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League. Ajibolade, who joined the club in 2019 and previously led the Beyond Limits Football Academy, guided the side to multiple titles in the TCC League, back‑to‑back TCC Cup wins, a TCC Super Cup, and Ogun State FA Cups. He also steered the team through successive promotions from Nationwide League One to the Nigeria National League and then to the Premier League, culminating in an NNL championship in Enugu.
