Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Camp celebrates 25th edition

The Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Camp is set to hold its 25th edition from August 31 to September 5, 2026, at the Indoor Sports Hall. The program expects to host more than 500 young basketball players for six days of intensive training.

Founded by former NBA player and Nigeria international Olumide Oyedeji, the camp is recognized as the longest-running basketball development program in Nigeria. The upcoming edition will focus on technical skills, teamwork, and game understanding through training sessions, coaching clinics, and mentorship from experienced figures in the basketball community.

Oyedeji, who serves as the 3rd Vice President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, stated his commitment to using the sport to empower youth and advance basketball development within the country. The President of the Nigeria Olympians Association also expressed support for the milestone event.
