Oluremi Tinubu launches APC women's campaign council

First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has inaugurated the APC Women’s Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja. The initiative merges over five hundred women’s support groups into a single structure to mobilize voters for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dr. Betta Edu, the Director of Women Mobilization for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election. Speaking at the 2026 Pre-Inaugural Women’s Summit and Empowerment Programme, Edu stated that the mobilization campaign aims to secure 40 million votes to ensure Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima remain in office until 2031.

The summit, themed “Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reforms to Prosperity,” was attended by various political figures, including the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and several state governors.
