Olusola Adeyeye calls for reconciliation between Tinubu and Aregbesola

Former Osun Central Senator Olusola Adeyeye has commented on the political rift between President Bola Tinubu and former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola. Speaking on Channels Television, Adeyeye noted that the two leaders previously shared an unusually strong bond, stating that no one loved Tinubu as much as Aregbesola did when they were allies.

Adeyeye suggested that a reconciliation between the two would be highly beneficial for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign, particularly in securing the South-West region. However, he acknowledged that Aregbesola’s current role within the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) could make a reunion difficult, as leaving the party might alienate his current supporters.

While Adeyeye expressed hope for their unity, he remarked that only the two individuals themselves have the power to forgive one another and resolve their lingering differences.
