Olymp Praha defeated Jihostroj České Budějovice 3-0 in their first Datart Extraliga women's volleyball match of the second round. The sets ended 25:19, 25:16, and 25:18.

Olymp Praha maintained a perfect record with six points after two rounds, while Jihostroj remains with one point following their previous match against Ostrava. Olymp's dominance was particularly evident in their blocking, recording 12 blocks compared to Jihostroj's two.

Jihostroj player Sandra Skřivanová noted that the team struggled with offensive execution and was demoralized by Olymp's successful blocks. Coach Zdeněk Pekař observed that while the team stayed competitive early on, they struggled with precision as the match progressed. Jihostroj's next opportunity for a victory will be at home against Přerov on October 16.
