Olympiacos acquires Senegalese forward Empaidi Ndiaie

Olympiacos has strengthened its front line by acquiring Senegalese forward Empaidi Ndiaie. The 27-year-old, standing 2.04 meters tall, joins from ASVEL Villeurbanne following a season where he averaged 8.3 points and 5.4 rebounds.

Ndiaie is noted for his athleticism, mobility without the ball, and offensive rebounding capabilities. While his shooting proficiency has been identified as a weakness, his ability to operate in various positions—ranging from the 4 to the 5 spot—is expected to provide depth to the Olympiacos roster.

The acquisition is part of a selective roster refresh under coach Georgios Bartzokas. Olympiacos has seen several departures, including players like Fal, McKissic, and Peters, while previously securing additions such as Cody Miller-McIntyre and Jean Montero.
