Olympiacos adds son of Giannis Retsos and re‑signs defender Dimitris Retsos

Olympiacos announced the return of defender Dimitris Retsos, a product of the club’s academy born on 7 August 2004. After a stint with Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok in the summer of 2024 and a season with Asteras B’ AKTOR in Greece’s Super League 2, Retsos re‑joined the Olympiacos B team.

The club also confirmed the signing of 20‑year‑old Brazilian attacking midfielder Giuliano Lombo de Oliveira. Born on 28 June 2006 in Coritiba, he began his career at São Bernardo before moving to Santos. Giuliano is the son of Olympiacos legend Giannis Retsos, and the transfer adds a new generation to the squad.
