Olympiacos and Aris to compete in Cyprus basketball friendly tournament

The annual Neofytos Chandriotis basketball friendly tournament will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 11 to 13 September. Greek clubs Olympiacos – the reigning EuroLeague champion – and Aris will join EuroLeague side Red Star Belgrade from Serbia and Maccabi Tel Aviv from Israel. Matches are scheduled for the indoor arena Tassos Papadopoulos – Eleftheria, which seats about 6,000 spectators. On Friday, 11 Sept, Aris faces Red Star at 18:30 and Olympiacos meets Maccabi at 20:45. The final day, Sunday 13 Sept, features Aris vs Maccabi at 16:45 and Olympiacos vs Red Star at 19:00. Tickets go on sale from 26 June.
