Olympiacos and Armando González face UEFA Europa League opponents

The UEFA Europa League draw has determined the opponents for Olympiacos, featuring Mexican player Armando ‘La Hormiga’ González. The Greek club will host AC Milan, Sparta Prague, Jagiellonia Bialystok, and TSG Hoffenheim at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.

As visitors, Olympiacos will face Olympique Marseille, Stade Rennais, NK Celje, and SC União Torreense. Olympiacos manager José Luis Mendilibar emphasized a philosophy of respect for all opponents, stating the team must approach every match as difficult and focus on qualifying for the next stage.

González, who joined Olympiacos in August 2026, is adapting to the squad following his move from Chivas. The league phase of the competition is scheduled to begin on September 16, with the final set for January 28, 2027.
