Olympiacos appoints Zéphyr Moncanta as technical director for Vangelis Marinakēs' club group

Greek football executive Vangelis Marinakēs has hired 40‑year‑old French technical director Zéphyr Moncanta to join the senior management of his multi‑club group. Moncanta, who previously worked as a scout for AC Milan and was linked with Nice, will serve as a super‑technical director overseeing Olympiacos, Nottingham Forest and Rio Ave.

In his new role Moncanta will coordinate scouting networks, identify emerging talent and shape transfer strategies for the three clubs. The appointment follows Marinakēs' recent recruitment of Miguel Cardoso as general director of football at Olympiacos, signalling a broader restructuring of the group’s football operations.
