Olympiacos coach Imanol Alguacil targets scoring improvements

Olympiacos coach Imanol Alguacil is utilizing the current league break to address scoring difficulties and refine the team's tactical approach. Despite the break, training at the Renti facilities is complicated by the absence of several players on international duty.

Alguacil has identified a significant struggle in the attacking line, noting that the team has only scored four goals in its first five matches. To improve offensive output, the coach is shifting focus toward the midfield, instructing players like Remo Freuler and Gustavo Puerta to move more aggressively into the opponent's territory to support strikers such as Marius and Tsikiniotis.

Additionally, Alguacil is using this period to better understand the club's internal philosophy and player dynamics. While he is in the process of settling into a permanent residence, he remains focused on intensive work with his coaching staff to prepare for the resumption of the championship.
