Olympiakos defeats Beşiktaş 81-73 in EuroLeague away victory

Olympiakos secured a significant 81-73 away victory against Beşiktaş in Istanbul during the eighth round of the EuroLeague. Despite facing several key absences, including star rebounder Michail Bertziolas (Milutinov), Olympiakos demonstrated strong team cohesion, recording 26 assists—the highest in the EuroLeague this season.

Olympiakos head coach Georgios Bartzokas praised the team's spirit and defensive performance, noting that the high assist count reflected their ability to play together effectively. Player Cody Miller-McIntyre highlighted the defensive improvements and the impact of centers Taikreek Jones and Doron Hai Moyal (Donta)” Hall, who combined for 29 points.

Beşiktaş head coach Dusan Alimpijevic remarked that both teams deserved to win, noting that his squad was severely hampered by the absence of five key players due to mechanical injuries. He noted that while his players fought hard, errors in the final stages of the game proved decisive when the score was tied at 68-68.
