Olympiacos enters race for Real Betis player Pablo García

Olympiacos has entered the race to sign Real Betis player Pablo García, according to reports from Matteo Moretto. The Greek club has reportedly offered 9 million euros for 70% of the player's rights.

Real Betis is seeking to maximize the profit from the sale, with the club aiming for at least 10 million euros for the same 70% stake, potentially supplemented by performance-based bonuses. This development provides Betis with additional leverage in negotiations, as Hull City had previously been in talks to acquire the attacker but failed to meet the club's financial demands.

Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini has expressed caution regarding player departures, stating that “any departure weakens the squad.” While a sale would not significantly impact the club's salary limit or facilitate the arrival of other reinforcements like Dani Ceballos, the loss of the U-21 international would leave a gap in the squad that is not currently expected to be filled by a replacement.
