Olympiacos eyes Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi in transfer pursuit

Greek club Olympiacos, fresh from a training camp in the Netherlands, is linked with a number of foreign forwards. An ESPN Brazil report cites Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi as a primary target, noting his 16 goals and six assists in 39 appearances last season and a contract with Olympiacos running until summer 2027.

The club is also reported to be monitoring Uruguayan forward Loustiano Rontigues and Ecuadorian striker John Gieboa, the latter valued around €10 million. The rumors involve Brazilian side Vasco da Gama, which is said to be interested in the same players, but Olympiacos remains the focus of the reported transfer activity.
