Olympiacos FC fined 50,000 euros for fan misconduct

The Permanent Committee for the Combat of Violence (DEAB) has imposed a total fine of 50,000 euros on Olympiacos FC following the derby against Panathinaikos held on October 11, 2026, at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.

The penalties consist of a 30,000 euro fine for banners deemed to incite violence and a 20,000 euro fine for racist behavior. The committee noted that fans displayed a banner using sexual orientation as a means of mockery and disparagement of opponents.

Olympiacos coach Imanol Alguacil was acquitted of charges regarding an Instagram post, as the committee determined there was no proven intent to incite violent incidents.
