Olympiacos agrees to sign Hayk Tiknizyan from Red Star Belgrade

Olympiacos has reached an agreement with Red Star Belgrade to sign 27-year-old Armenian left-back Hayk Tiknizyan. The transfer fee is reported to be 5 million euros, with an additional 2 million euros in performance-based bonuses.

Tiknizyan is expected to arrive in Athens on Monday morning to undergo medical examinations and finalize a contract that includes a four-year term with an option for a fifth year. His annual salary is estimated at 1.1 million euros. The player reportedly chose Olympiacos over interest from Zenit Saint Petersburg.

In addition to the Tiknizyan deal, Olympiacos is actively pursuing reinforcements for the midfield. The club has reached agreements with both Colombian midfielder Gustavo Puerta and Venezuelan midfielder Christian Caicedo (Cáceres), with manager José Luis Mendilibar expected to make the final decision on which player to sign.
