Olympiacos in talks with Mauro Icardi

Olympiacos is reportedly in contact with Argentine striker Mauro Icardi to bolster its attacking line. The pursuit follows a serious injury to star forward Ayoub El Kaabi, which has increased the club's need for offensive reinforcements.

According to journalist Nahuel Ferreira, formal contacts have been made regarding the 33-year-old former Galatasaray player. Discussions are reportedly exploring the possibility of a two-year contract. Icardi, a free agent, would join the squad to compete for playing time alongside Armando González.

Icardi brings extensive European experience to the negotiations, having previously played for clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, and Sampdoria. His career statistics include 280 goals and 68 assists across 517 matches.
