Olympiacos Nears €8‑10 million Deal for Portuguese Midfielder Daniel Bragança

Greek club Olympiacos is in advanced negotiations with Sporting Lisbon to sign 27‑year‑old Portuguese midfielder Daniel Bragança. Portuguese daily A Bola reports the transfer fee could range between €8 million and €10 million, reflecting Sporting’s expected summer revenue from player sales. Bragança, who is under contract with Sporting until 2027, has been linked with a move as the Greek side looks to strengthen its roster ahead of the new season, which has already begun with a 0‑0 draw against Naïmegen. Sporting is reportedly preparing to release the player, and the deal is expected to be finalized before the start of the Portuguese league’s opening match on August 8.

Bragança has made 215 appearances for Sporting across all competitions, scoring 24 goals and providing 19 assists. He has won three Portuguese league titles, two League Cups and one Portuguese Cup with the Lisbon club. The potential transfer would see him join Olympiacos, where he is expected to add depth to the midfield and contribute to the team’s domestic and European campaigns.
