Olympiacos officially signs Armenian defender Nair Tiknizyan

Olympiacos has officially announced the signing of Armenian international left-back Nair Tiknizyan from Red Star Belgrade. The 27-year-old player arrived in Greece on August 17 and successfully completed his medical examinations before signing his contract.

The transfer deal is reported to be valued at approximately 5 million euros. Tiknizyan, who was born in Saint Petersburg, is expected to serve as a primary replacement for Ortega in the defensive line. His professional career includes stints at CSKA Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow, and Avangard Kursk.

Tiknizyan has represented the Armenian national team in 31 matches. This move follows Olympiacos' recent reinforcement of the midfield with Freiler, as the club continues to pursue further additions in the attacking sector.
