Olympiacos pursues loan of NEOM SC talent Ahmed Al-Anzi

Olympiacos is in advanced negotiations to secure the loan of 20-year-old Saudi Arabian attacking midfielder Ahmed Al-Anzi from NEOM SC. According to reports from Asharq Al-Awsat, the Greek club has submitted an official proposal and both parties are currently finalizing the terms of the agreement and the necessary sports licensing procedures.

Time is a critical factor in the negotiations, as the Greek transfer window is scheduled to close on September 15. Al-Anzi, who plays primarily as a winger, is considered a rising talent within the NEOM system. He previously performed well with the NEOM U21 squad and earned a debut with the senior team under coach Christophe Galtier.

Al-Anzi’s career history includes 50 appearances for Ohod, where he recorded three goals and three assists, as well as a stint with the Dinamo Zagreb U19 squad. The potential move is viewed as a developmental investment for Olympiacos.
