Olympiacos B.C. signs Mbaye Ndiaye to two-year contract

Olympiacos B.C. has officially signed Senegalese forward Mbaye Ndiaye to a two-year contract through 2028. The club reached an agreement with the French side ASVEL, paying a buyout of approximately €400,000 to secure the 27-year-old player.

Ndiaye, known for his athleticism and rim protection, joins the roster to fill the void left by Alec Peters. During his time with ASVEL, he gained significant EuroLeague experience, averaging 7.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in the 2025-26 season. While noted for his strength and energy, his shooting from distance remains a developmental area.

The signing is part of a broader roster restructuring for the Piraeus-based team. Olympiacos is also actively seeking further reinforcements, including a new left-back for their football department and additional basketball talent to bolster their front-line and perimeter depth.
