Olympiacos suspends Tyler Dorsey for one month
Olympiacos has issued a one-month suspension to guard Tyler Dorsey following disciplinary breaches. The Greek-American player was sanctioned after making public criticisms on social media regarding his status with the club and his relationship with management.
The conflict reportedly intensified after Dorsey expressed dissatisfaction with his playing time and questioned his future with the team on Instagram. This followed comments from Jerome Blossomgame suggesting Dorsey's contributions to the team were replaceable. Although Dorsey later issued an apology, the club proceeded with the suspension and a financial penalty, stating he will be removed from all team activities for one month.
During his five EuroLeague games this season, Dorsey averaged 12.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. Amidst the disciplinary action, Olympiacos has also announced the signing of John Končar to a two-year contract.
