Olympiacos wins IBT CRETE 2026 basketball tournament

Olympiacos secured the title at the IBT CRETE 2026 tournament, defeating Crvena Zvezda 87-77 in the final. The Greek team, led by coach Georgios Bartzokas, participated in the tournament alongside other EuroLeague sides including Fenerbahce and Armani Milano.

In the semifinals, Olympiacos faced Fenerbahce. Despite significant absences due to rest or injury—including Milutinov, Monteros, Vezenkov, Papanikolaou, and Larentzakis—the team managed a comeback in the fourth quarter. The victory was driven by strong defensive play and scoring from Dorsey and Fournier, overcoming early struggles with fouls and offensive rebounding by the Turkish side.
