Olympiakos reshapes attack amid Mehdi Taremi exit rumors
Olympiakos is undergoing significant changes to its attacking lineup ahead of the new season. Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi is reportedly close to leaving the club, with interest coming from a team in Dubai and inquiries from French side Lille. Despite having only one year left on his contract, Taremi is reportedly seeking a move to ensure regular playing time.
Other players potentially facing departures include Roman Yaremchuk and Clayton. The club is actively restructuring its offense, with the imminent acquisition of Armando González expected to influence these decisions. Manager José Luis Mendilibar is also considering Zota Silva as a primary attacking option.
Olympiakos has already secured Remo Freuler and Nair Tiknizian, and is currently pursuing reinforcements for the wing positions, with Brian Hill and Ruben Vargas identified as high-priority targets.
