Olympic Boxing Festival 2026 begins in Córdoba

The 2026 Olympic Boxing Festival has commenced at the Arena Coliseo Cordobés in Córdoba, Veracruz. The tournament is endorsed by the Veracruz State Boxing Association (ABAEV), the Mexican Boxing Federation (FMB), and World Boxing.

Organizers aim to strengthen youth boxing and establish Córdoba as a talent hub. The event features young pugilists and was attended by former state champions Gonzalo Montalvo, Enrique Luna, and Enrique ‘La Cobra’ Pérez. Daniel Tejeda, a representative of the Arena Coliseo Cordobés, emphasized that the competition provides discipline and opportunities for youth to develop skills for higher-level competition.
