Olympio Metals and Torque Metals report high‑grade gold intercepts in Canada and Australia
Olympio Metals (ASX:OLY) announced high‑grade gold results from phase‑three drilling at its Bousquet Gold Project in Québec, Canada. Hole BO‑26‑67 returned a 5‑metre intercept averaging 4.54 g/t Au, including a 0.75‑metre section at 24.3 g/t Au, and a second 1.85‑metre intercept at 2.17 g/t Au. Managing Director Sean Delaney said the results reinforce confidence in a large mineralised system and that further assay results are expected in the coming weeks.
Torque Metals (ASX:TOR) reported new high‑grade gold intercepts at its Paris Gold Project in Western Australia. At the Observation deposit, a 2.7‑metre intercept averaged 5.2 g/t Au, with a 0.4‑metre zone at 29.97 g/t Au, marking the deepest drill hole to date. At the HHH deposit, a 1‑metre intercept averaged 20.9 g/t Au, including 0.6 metre at 33.76 g/t Au. Managing Director Craig Jones described the finds as a strong start to the next phase of resource growth and noted ongoing drilling to extend the mineralised zones.
