Olympio Metals to acquire 80% interest in Idaho silver project

Olympio Metals has completed due diligence and is proceeding with the acquisition of an 80% interest in the Jacknife Silver Project in Idaho, USA. The project is being acquired from US-based explorer Scout Discoveries Corp, which will act as Olympio’s in-country technical and operational partner. Following the annual general meeting on 31 August 2026, Olympio will issue shares to Scout Discoveries as part of the binding agreement.

The Jacknife project spans approximately 1,594 hectares and includes patented mining claims covering 80% of a 7km mineralized trend. These claims provide both mineral and surface rights, which Managing Director Sean Delaney noted allows for exploration with minimal federal permitting hurdles.

A central feature of the project is the Conjecture Mine, which historically produced approximately 2 million ounces of silver between 1956 and 1964. A 1975 foreign estimate for the Conjecture prospect suggests a potential 8.22 million ounces of silver from surface to depths exceeding 600 meters. Olympio intends to use the acquisition to advance exploration programs and define mineral resources that meet JORC reporting standards.
