Olympion Group faces new auction for Ioannina medical center

The Olympion Group, a healthcare services provider, is facing a series of auctions for its private medical units across Greece. Following previous proceedings for Olympion Thessaly and the parent company, Olympion Therapeutic General Clinic of Patras, the focus has shifted to the Olympion Ioanninon Rehabilitation and Recovery Center.

A new auction for the Ioannina facility is scheduled for September 16. This follows several unsuccessful attempts to sell the center, which is the largest private rehabilitation facility in Epirus and Northwestern Greece. Previous auctions in March 2023, November 2024, January 2025, and March 2025 all failed to attract bidders, even after the starting price was reduced by 20% to approximately 3.5 million euros.

There is currently confusion regarding the starting price for the upcoming September auction. While the auction platform lists a price of 5.8 million euros, official seizure and valuation reports estimate the value at 2,786,000 euros.
