Olympique de Marseille eyes Sevilla striker Akor Adams in €20m bid

Olympique de Marseille is targeting Nigerian forward Akor Adams, who currently plays for Sevilla FC. The French club is reported to be preparing an offer of around €20 million, possibly combined with a cash‑plus‑player package that could involve Neal Maupay, to meet Sevilla’s valuation of roughly €25 million.

Adams, 26, has scored 10 league goals and provided four assists this season and previously played in Ligue 1 with Montpellier, which the Marseille hierarchy considers valuable experience. However, the striker has downplayed transfer speculation, stating he has not heard any talks and is focused on his contract with Sevilla, which runs until 2029.

Marseille’s interest reflects a broader need to strengthen its attack ahead of the 2026‑2027 campaign, while Sevilla remains firm on its price despite financial fair‑play constraints.
