Olympique de Marseille faces criticism over management and performance

Former French international and FC Barcelona defender Jérémy Mathieu has publicly criticized the management and on-field performance of Olympique de Marseille. Mathieu, a devoted supporter of the club, expressed deep disappointment regarding the team's recent displays, specifically citing a match against Troyes as being so poor that he stopped watching at halftime.

In an interview with So Foot, Mathieu stated, “Marseille is very poorly managed,” expressing frustration for both the coaching staff and the club as a whole. This criticism follows a period of inconsistent results for the team, including a recent narrow 4-3 victory against Le Havre that saw the club struggle to maintain a significant lead.
