Olympique de Marseille players and coach face criticism after Le Havre match

Following Olympique de Marseille's 4-3 victory against Le Havre, tension has emerged within the club regarding the conduct of substitute players. Coach Bruno Genesio and midfielder Himad Abdelli publicly criticized the performance and attitude of young players Abdallah and Kamissoko, who entered the match in the second half.

Reports indicate that Keyliane Abdallah has been demoted to the Pro 2 squad by Genesio following the incident. Journalist Daniel Riolo criticized the decision to address these issues publicly rather than in the dressing room, describing the confrontation as "inadmissible" and noting that the club narrowly avoided a significant setback after nearly conceding three goals late in the game.

Himad Abdelli later attempted to clarify his remarks on social media, stating that while his words may have been poorly phrased, he intended to emphasize the necessity of maintaining intensity for the full 90 minutes. He noted that his comments were informed by his own past experiences of struggling when coming off the bench.
