Olympique de Marseille pursues striker Akor Adams and midfielder Hidemasa Morita

Olympique de Marseille are reported to be targeting Nigerian international striker Akor Adams, whose transfer fee has reportedly fallen to €15 million after Sevilla reduced its asking price from €30 million. Coach Gennaro Gennaro ‘Genesio’ is said to see Adams as a powerful forward who can add a physical presence to the team’s attack, and the club hopes to finalize a deal that fits its tight budget.

The club is also monitoring 31‑year‑old Japanese defensive midfielder Hidemasa Morita, who became a free agent after leaving Sporting CP. Negotiations with Leeds United for a Premier League move collapsed, leaving Morita available without a transfer fee.
