Olympique Marseille and Lyon pursue new attackers amid transfer rush

Olympique de Marseille is looking for a low‑cost striker to replace departing forwards Mason Greenwood and Pierre‑Emerick Aubameyang. The club has identified Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan, who impressed at the World Cup, as a target and is negotiating a fee of around €12 million with Real Oviedo. At the same time, Marseille continues to seek a buyer for Greenwood, with clubs such as Fenerbahçe, Atlético Madrid and AS Roma in the mix, while the French side hopes to secure a higher price than the €40 million currently on the table.

Olympique Lyonnais is also active in the market, scouting Belgian forward Loïs Openda, whose €40 million release clause at Juventus makes him a costly option. Lyon’s coach Paulo Fonseca has expressed interest, but no concrete offer has yet been made.

In the Netherlands, Ajax is in negotiations with Girona for Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounahi. The Dutch club aims to reduce the €25 million release clause before submitting a formal bid, while Girona holds firm on its valuation.
