Olympique de Marseille eyes €15 m sale of Højbjerg, adds Traoré loan and Kavoka signing

Olympique de Marseille has set a €15 million price tag for Danish midfielder Pierre‑Emile Højbjerg, with AC Milan, Atalanta and Turkish side Beşiktaş reported to be interested. Beşiktaş is said to be accelerating its approach, while Milan has been linked to a €10 million offer.

Ivorian international Hamed Junior Traoré has left the club on a loan to Genoa that includes an option to buy for €8 million after a €2 million loan fee. The move returns him to Italy, where he began his career.

Other departures include Mason Greenwood to Turkey, Pierre‑Emerick Aubameyang to La Corogne and several loan ends. At the same time, Marseille have signed 17‑year‑old French striker Joshua Kavoka from Brétigny after he recorded 16 goals in 22 U17 matches.

The club is also targeting 20‑year‑old Moroccan left‑back Adam Aznou of Everton, with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven also monitoring the player. All of the activity is driven by the French football financial watchdog DNCG, which has forced Marseille to sell or loan players to rebalance its finances ahead of the 2026 summer window.
