Olympique de Marseille to return to Adidas in major kit deal

Olympique de Marseille (OM) is reportedly set to return to Adidas as its kit supplier as early as next season, significantly advancing the timeline from the previously expected 2028-2029 period. This new long-term agreement would replace the current partnership with Puma.

The financial implications of the deal are substantial. While the current Puma partnership is estimated to provide approximately 20 to 25 million euros annually, the new Adidas contract could increase annual revenue to between 40 and 50 million euros. This nearly 100% increase would place OM within the top 15 European clubs for kit supplier revenue.

The timing of this commercial boost contrasts with the club's recent sporting struggles in Ligue 1. While the increased revenue provides a significant financial influx, questions remain regarding how the funds will be utilized, particularly as the club manages financial oversight and recruitment constraints.
