Olympique de Marseille is preparing to sell Danish midfielder Pierre‑Emile Højbjerg as the club struggles with a severe financial deficit. Sources say AC Milan have offered around €15 million for the player, a fee that would help Marseille meet a roughly €80 million sales target set by the French DNCG and under scrutiny from UEFA.

The transfer is part of a broader summer window in which Marseille have focused on off‑loading talent rather than purchasing new players.
