Olympique de Marseille pursues Haissem Hassan, eyes Marcin Bulka and signs Jephthe Malanda
Olympique de Marseille is active in the 2026 summer transfer window. The club has offered €10 million for Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan of Real Oviedo, a deal the player has reportedly accepted, but the move is contingent on Marseille completing other player sales to reduce its wage bill.
Goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli is set to leave for Manchester City for around €3.5 million, prompting Marseille to target Polish keeper Marcin Bulka. The club has submitted a loan‑with‑option‑to‑buy proposal to Neom SC in Saudi Arabia and is negotiating the terms of the deal.
In addition, Marseille has signed 18‑year‑old Franco‑Belgian midfielder Jephthe Malanda to his first professional contract, binding him to the club until 2029 after interest from several European teams. The club’s broader strategy includes off‑loading players such as Mason Greenwood, Pierre‑Emerick Aubameyang and others to fund new acquisitions.
