Olympique de Marseille transfer updates: Emerson to stay

Olympique de Marseille is managing player departures and planning for the upcoming winter transfer window. Brazilian defender Emerson has decided to remain with the club until the end of his contract. Despite interest and improved offers from Juventus to secure a January move, Emerson intends to finish his European career in Marseille before joining his former club, Santos, in Brazil.

Regarding incoming transfers, Marseille is exploring two primary options for January. The club is monitoring Tottenham defender Tosin Adarabioyo for a potential loan deal, though financial constraints may impact the feasibility of a permanent transfer. Additionally, the club has made initial contact with Cagliari goalkeeper Elia Caprile, valued at approximately €15 million, as a long-term successor to Geronimo Rulli.
