Olympique Lyonnais faces squad challenges amid player performances

Olympique Lyonnais is navigating personnel shifts and performance scrutiny within its squad. Midfielder Noah Nartey, who joined the club during the winter transfer window after being linked to Olympique de Marseille, has struggled to meet expectations. His recent performance in a match against Paris Saint-Germain has led to questions regarding his adaptation to French football.

In contrast, winger Keito Nakamura is set to return to the squad for the upcoming match against Angers. Nakamura missed the recent fixture against Paris Saint-Germain following a suspension triggered by a direct red card received during a match against Nice. His return provides coach Paulo Fonseca with much-needed offensive depth, as the team is currently managing absences from players such as Pavel Šulc and Loïs Openda.
