Olympique Lyonnais loses lead in Ligue 1 after defeat to PSG

Olympique Lyonnais dropped to fifth place in the Ligue 1 standings following a 2-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes. Prior to the match, Lyon held the top position in the league.

Criticism has emerged regarding the tactical decisions made by manager Paulo Fonseca. Former Lyon player and consultant Sidney Govou questioned the heavy rotation within the squad, specifically noting the difficulty of managing players through frequent matches and multiple substitutions during a critical period.

Following two consecutive losses, Lyon faces a crucial upcoming match against Angers this Saturday to regain momentum.
