Olympique Lyonnais nears Loïs Openda loan from Juventus

Olympique Lyonnais is finalizing the acquisition of Belgian striker Loïs Openda on loan from Juventus. The deal includes an option to buy, with both clubs expected to share responsibility for the player's salary. Openda, who scored two goals in 34 appearances for Juventus last season, confirmed his desire to move to find more playing time to improve his prospects for the national team.

In addition to the Openda deal, the club is monitoring the situation regarding Roman Yaremchuk. The Ukrainian striker, currently with Olympiakos, has expressed interest in returning to Lyon. However, a transfer appears unlikely as Olympiakos is maintaining a €5 million valuation, while Lyon is unwilling to pay a transfer fee and is instead seeking to have the player released from his contract.
