Olympique Lyonnais resumes training amid international duty
Olympique Lyonnais (OL) players have resumed training following a week-long break granted by coach Paulo Fonseca to those not involved in international duty. The training sessions aim to prepare the squad for their upcoming Ligue 1 match against Lens on October 9.
During the international break, several OL players have been active with their national teams. Ernest Nuamah scored his fifth goal of the season for Ghana in a match against Gambia, while Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez also found the net for England's U19 side. Other players involved in international fixtures include Loïs Openda for Belgium, Keito Nakamura for Japan, and Noah Nartey for Denmark's U21 squad.
In recent international action, Pavel Sulc was sent off during a match between the Czech Republic and England.
