OM and OL bolstered by signings Gouiri and Ouédraogo

At Olympique de Marseille, Algerian striker Amine Gouiri has recorded 11 goals and 5 assists in 28 matches since arriving in the winter transfer window. Working under coach Bruno Genesio, who previously coached him at Lyon and Rennes, Gouiri is expected to become the club’s leading striker and could help Marseille achieve its target of a €90 million net transfer profit by June 2027.

At Olympique Lyonnais, Burkinabé left‑back Mohamed Ouédraogo, signed for €2.2 million, impressed during preseason training and friendly matches. Coach Paulo Fonseca and teammates have praised his box‑to‑box energy, suggesting he may challenge veteran left‑back Nicolas Tagliafico for a regular place in the lineup.
