Łomża hosts Sacrum et Musica and Iskra Nadziei festivals

The city of Łomża is hosting significant cultural events, including the 22nd edition of the Sacrum et Musica Festival and the Iskra Nadziei Festival.

The Sacrum et Musica Festival opened with a concert at the Łomża Cathedral featuring the Łomża Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jan Miłosz Zarzycki. The program included works by Chopin, Handel, and Geminiani. The festival tour is scheduled to span the Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Warmian-Masurian voivodeships.

Additionally, the Iskra Nadziei Festival will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Łomża Cathedral. The event features musical performances, including a concert by Kamil Bednarek. The celebrations include a mass led by Archbishop Józef Guzdek to mark the historical significance of the cathedral, which completed its construction 500 years ago.
