The child landed on the blanket, which significantly absorbed the impact. A neighbor, who is a doctor, provided initial medical assistance before emergency services arrived. The child's mother was found sleeping in the apartment during the incident. Police testing revealed she had a blood alcohol level of 0.7 permille. Authorities are investigating the case, and the mother may face charges for endangering the life or health of a minor, which could carry a sentence of up to five years in prison.
