Oman Air and Finnair sign codeshare deal to link Australia and Europe
Oman Air and Finnair have entered into a codeshare agreement designed to enhance connectivity between Australia, the Middle East, and Europe. This partnership marks the first codeshare for Oman Air since joining the oneworld Alliance in June 2025.
The agreement facilitates new travel routes for passengers, specifically linking Melbourne to various European hubs via Bangkok and Muscat. Travelers can access Helsinki and seven other major European cities—including Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Milan, and Rome—on a single connected ticket.
Oman Air will utilize its twice-daily Bangkok to Muscat service to connect Australasian travelers to Finnair’s network. Additionally, the deal leverages Oman Air’s 11 weekly flights between Muscat and London Heathrow to provide seamless transfers. Loyalty program members from both airlines will receive reciprocal oneworld benefits, such as tier privileges and service perks, throughout their journeys.
