Oman business awards launch in Muscat as Melbourne secures ACI summit

The fifth edition of the TAS Oman Business Awards 2026 commenced in Muscat, organized by The Arabian Stories. Held under the patronage of His Excellency Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Majlis Al Shura, the event recognizes 25 winners for their contributions to Oman’s economic development across sectors such as banking, technology, healthcare, and logistics.

Separately, Airports Council International (ACI) World announced that Melbourne Airport will host the 2027 ACI World Airport Experience Summit. This marks the first time the event will be held in Oceania. The announcement follows the conclusion of the eighth summit in Istanbul, which focused on human-centered travel, employee experience, and the integration of technology like artificial intelligence in airport operations.
