During a high-level meeting, Abdullah emphasized the need for coordinated snow clearance operations to prevent road connectivity disruptions in areas vulnerable to heavy snowfall.
To ensure efficiency, the Chief Minister ordered the designation of nodal officers to coordinate efforts between the Roads and Buildings Department, the Mechanical Engineering Department, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, and other agencies. He called for the advance deployment of personnel and machinery to maintain essential services.
Regarding utility services, Abdullah instructed the Power Development Department to strictly adhere to notified power curtailment schedules and warned field staff against imposing unscheduled cuts without authorization.
