Omar al-Bayoumi linked to 9/11 hijackers in Saudi Arabia lawsuit

Omar al-Bayoumi, a Saudi national who lived in San Diego in the late 1990s, is at the center of a $1 trillion lawsuit brought against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by thousands of 9/11 victims' families and survivors.

Holly Ratchford, the former manager of the Parkwood Apartments where al-Bayoumi resided, has spoken out about her interactions with him. She described him as a friendly and bubbly neighbor who introduced her to two men who later became identified as hijackers of American Airlines flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon.

The 9/11 attacks, carried out by al-Qaeda, resulted in the deaths of nearly 3,000 people after four hijacked aircraft were flown into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania.
